SACRED SISTERHOOD

The winds of change are at hand! We have heard many versions of what the Sacred Sisterhood means to groups and individuals and all perspectives are creative and enlightening that I have read. The Sacred Sisterhood is not an exclusive group of women who bash our male counterparts. We hold the truths of our complimentary equality within our core being. We are a fortunate group to live in these times. We are needed more than ever. It is my understanding that in the past, we could not say a women's club, it was taboo. We had to call our gatherings circles. For me, in no way would a circle of women diminish the innate effectiveness of these powerful women's groups. In my own experience, women working in their sacred spiritual tradition, can feed hundreds and feed them well. They can clothe you. They can furnish your home. They can clean a home, land, or children like a machine. They can find you a position within their tradition where you can share your gifts. They can gather around you and pray the heavens down on your behalf. They will stand with you as long as you say stand with me.

When considering a Sacred Sisterhood to be a part of, ask yourself these things: Does these women empower each other? Do they honor and respect boundaries? Do they honor the individual? Make no comparisons! Make no Judgments! Are they inclusive instead of exclusive? These are important questions when selecting a Sacred Sisterhood. For, in truth, if we cannot empower each other for the highest and best good, we have no Sisterhood.......Namaste
